What is My Frontpage module advantage over standard frontpage ?
You can control where the module or news items are located.
In Joomla when you click on the news item, the item will still show on the Home page. So if you have particular module that you do not want to be visible on that news item, or you do not want to show any modules when reading a complete article, you have no way to hide it with standard Joomla front page layout. With My Frontpage Module you can target the position of you module, and publish it only on specific menu items. Example: If you publish the module in “top” position and asign it only to “Home” , once the news item is clicked, no additional modules will be shown . Only your news item
